Carver Automation announces ServiceRadar Cloud, managed network operations built on open source
Carver Automation Corporation today announced ServiceRadar Cloud, a fully managed edition of ServiceRadar for teams that want network monitoring, management, security analytics, and infrastructure operations without running the platform themselves.
ServiceRadar remains free and open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Organizations can continue to self-host the full platform. ServiceRadar Cloud adds a hosted control plane operated by Carver Automation: upgrades, scaling, availability, and day-two operations are handled for customers who prefer a managed path.
“Operators should not have to choose between an open platform they can inspect and a product they can actually run in production,” said the ServiceRadar team at Carver Automation. “Cloud is for teams that want the same operational picture as the open-source product, without owning the infrastructure that delivers it.”
What ServiceRadar Cloud delivers
- Managed ServiceRadar for discovery, monitoring, flow intelligence, security correlation, and automation against live inventory
- The same open architecture as self-hosted ServiceRadar, including SRQL for asking operational questions against live data
- Hosting, upgrades, and operational ownership by Carver Automation, with enterprise support and professional services available for production deployments
- A path for edge and distributed environments where sites are constrained and teams need one shared operational picture
Availability
ServiceRadar Cloud is launching with early access. Interested teams can request access through sales, try the public live demo, or deploy open-source ServiceRadar today from GitHub while they evaluate the managed option.
Open-source ServiceRadar is available now at github.com/carverauto/serviceradar . Product documentation is at docs.serviceradar.cloud . The live demo is at demo.serviceradar.cloud .
